Parent/carer Sessions with their children

"The parent-child connection is the most powerful mental health intervention known to mankind"
Bessel Van Der Kolk

We provide a nurturing safe space for young children and parents/carers. Using stories as a base, we create a supportive environment that allows children and their adults to play together, create their own scenarios, fostering multiple forms of communication and emotional regulation.

"The most magical, friendly, innovative, creative, intimate, whacky children's sessions I've encountered in the 4 years with my son"

Parent, Rotherhithe

Through fun, silliness, a relaxed atmosphere and a wide array of props and puppets, we help nurture children and their parents/carers through these tailor-made sessions.
"It was a lovely session, great energy. My shy little boy loved it and felt included and kept smiling throughout. Thank you".

Parent, Southfields

Key Elements

Laughter and humour are at the heart of our work, reducing anxiety, stress hormones and diminishing a sense of powerlessness that both children and adults can feel.
Activities are carefully designed to increase positive attachment and provide a healthy dose of those lovely feel good hormones: dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins.

Connection between the children and their adults is paramount.
We foster a sense of safety and predictability by keeping the same basic structure for the sessions.
Each session builds on the previous one, making each programme slightly different based on children's (and adults'!) input. This builds a sense of ownership, allowing every to see their ideas fleshed out during the next session.
"Great fun, super enthusiastic and energetic.
My 3 and 6 year old loved it!"

Parent, Southfields

"Excellent programme. This is the best storytelling I have experienced. My son loves coming and we thoroughly enjoy the songs and story time."

Parent, ROTHERHITHE

"It has been great to have a structured thing to do together every week."

Parent, Roehampton
